At the conclusion of the election recount, two term Nassau County Supervisor Tom Suozzi appears to have been defeated by challenger Ed Mangano.

UPDATE on Wednesday, December 2, 2009: Suozzi has conceded. Come January, Republicans will control the Nassau County Supervisor's office and the legislature.
